Nutley Farm Cattery offers cats a stimulating, clean, and comfortable environment for an exceptional boarding experience. The bespoke design makes it a truly unique cattery with your cat’s needs at the centre of our ethos. Nutley Farm has built up an enviable reputation as one of the area’s premier pet boarding facilities, with a loyal clientele of returning customers. We have also been voted “Best Upscale Pet Boarding Accommodation in Kent” in the Lux Life Magazine Pet Products and Services Awards 2020, and “Luxury Pet Boarding Facility of the Year in Kent” in their 2021 Awards.
Situated on a quiet lane in Wateringbury, it offers a peaceful, yet exciting setting within acres of private gardens adjacent to chestnut woods for all cats to enjoy on their holiday. Local wildlife are happy to entertain the cattery guests day and night. This provides hours of mental stimulation – absolutely essential for cats away from their usual routine at home. Our guests can look forward to seeing a plethora of birdlife (including the occasional pheasant), butterflies, bees, squirrels and rabbits, and an evening show of rodents and owls.
The cattery is in a semi-rural location, yet is easily accessible to major road links (only a few minutes away from the A26 and the A20/M20) and located approximately half way between towns of Maidstone, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks, and very close to Kings Hill. We are easily accessible from Chatham and Medway, South East London and North Kent via the A20 and M20. There is ample, easily accessible parking on site.
All our guests are fed on well known and trusted brands of premium wet and dry food from the following selection, for a variety of nutritional needs:
Dry Foods : Purina One Chicken or Fish, Iams, Whiskas, Go Cat, Royal Canin Regular Fit (this variety only), Wellbeloved Turkey .
Wet food (pouches only – maximum 3 per day): Felix (kitten, regular and As Good As It Looks), Whiskas (kitten, 7+ and regular), Sheba fine flakes in jelly (not gravy) and Gourmet Perle (this variety only).
If you wish your cat to have a specific food that is not part of our included range, or they have a veterinary prescribed diet, we recommend that you bring your own supply of this and we will make sure they receive their regular food at meal times. Please note that for health and safety reasons we are unable to serve any raw diet products.
To view the cattery prior to any boarding arrangements being made, please note we are extremely security conscious so all visits are strictly by appointment only. Please get in touch with us via the online Contact Form to book your viewing.
For all bookings we operate a strictly appointment only system within our opening times in the interests of animal welfare, enabling us to avoid queues and get your cats settled in quickly and safely.
All bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit payable at the time of booking, so please don’t make your reservation until your dates are confirmed. The balance of fees is due 2 weeks before arrival (4 weeks before arrival for July and August bookings). Please note our usual policies regarding cancellation will also apply, please check our terms and conditions for details.

Microchipping
Current legislation requires all cats to be implanted with a microchip before they reach the age of 20 weeks and their contact details stored and kept up to date in a pet microchipping database. We require all cats staying with us to be microchipped – if you have not already done so, please ensure your cat has a microchip or make an appointment with your vet for this to be done before any booking with us.
